A great 2 week option for participants who like sailing and would like to combine this activity with good French classes and accommodation with a welcoming host family.
Saint-Malo (52,000 inhabitants) is a well know beach destination for both French and international visitors and has a great climate for budding sailors. It also boast a beautiful historic city centre, the city ramparts jutting out right to the sea.
The programme includes French classes each week day morning which are divided according to language level. After lunch the participants are transported to the local sailing club for classes which are also open to French teenagers. (5 afternoons per week). The sailing school provides wetsuits and classes are adapted to all levels, including beginners.
Host families are located within a maximum of 25 minutes from the language school and participants are given a local transport card. Participants are housed in private or shared bedrooms (twin). Evenings are spent together with the host family and there is a full day excursion included per week normally to the famour Mont Saint Michel.
