Antibes is such a privileged destination on the gorgeous French Riviera with 25km of sandy beaches.
This residential French and sailing is the perfect choice for teenagers interested in improving French grammar and speaking in combination with sailing tuition in the afternoons on the beach. The programme is available in both July and August. Campus Leonardo da Vinci is used in July for both classes and accommodation and then Campus Horticole is used in August. Both are situated in green quiet areas of the city and boast swimming pools, sporting facilities and restaurant.
Residential participants are from all over the world. Full board is included and accommodation in shared rooms of maximum 4 people per room. Common shared facilities on each floor (showers, sinks and toilets). Bed linen provided and changed weekly. Once a week cleaning and towels are not provided. There is a shuttle bus provided to and from the beach and the centre of Antibes.
Week-day mornings are spent in class with 20 lessons each week including a daily conversation workshop. There are a maximum of 15 students per class and the first Monday is dedicated to level assessment to ensure participants are placed in the correct group.
Students on the sailing plus programme will enjoy 3 hours of sailing each week-day afternoon at the Antibes sailing club, which is a member of the French federation of sailing.
Evening activities include weekly bbq, disco party, games, shows etc.
1 full day weekend outing included to nearby places of interest such as Nice, Monaco, Grasse, Aquasplash.
Students aged 13-16 are only allowed to leave school unaccompanied until 19.30h
Students aged 16-17 can obtain a parental permission in the case of wishing to be out unaccompanied until 22.00h.
24-7 supervision at the residence and during social programme and outings.
