Our local partner in Germany has been running very successful programmes for almost 40 years. This is one of their most popular options for participants wishing to take German classes and enjoy a wonderful programme combining water sports with cultural visits to nearby Berlin.
The camp itself is held on a lake camp close to Berlin. The centre has a campus lake side with several small houses where the students are house. The campus also has 10 classrooms and a café on site for meals. Other facilities on-site include a harbour, boats, surf boards kayaks, canoes, SUP boards, indoor gym and fitness studio, climbing wall, volley and basketball courts and full size football pitch!
20 classes of German are held each week and 4 different levels are provided from beginner to advanced. There are a maximum of 12 students per class. The students attending come from a good mix of international countries such as Mexico, Poland, Spain, Bulgaria, Denmark, Norway, France, Greece, England and Italy.
In the afternoons there are 2 different activities on offer to include sailing, canoeing, badminton, SUP, volleyball, climbing.
In the evenings activities such as barbecues, campfires and dance competitions are organised and the programme also includes 2 outings each week to Berlin (one full day and one half day excursion).
Accommodation is provided in double or triple shared rooms with private bathrooms and full board is provided in the on-site cafeteria.
