This programme in the beautiful city of Florence offers teenagers a wonderful chance to be immersed in Italian culture and gain an insight into Italian life by living with a host family.
Host families are located a maximum of 15 minutes walking or by bus from school and provide students with breakfast and dinner daily while the school provides lunch each day.
Florence is almost like a living museum and there is a rich daily schedule of activities offering the opportunity to get to know it properly. In the mornings there are Italian lessons (4 lessons per day) and in the afternoons activities and outings are offered which might include walking tour, visit to the Uffizi Gallery, Art work shop at the Fine Arts Academy visit to the Basilica di Sant Croce. There is also the opportunity to visit the local outdoor municipal swimming pool. Dinner and evenings with the host family. On the weekends a full day outing is included to the coast, or to Siena or Pisa.
