Leaving Cert Prep San Sebastian

San Sebastian has long been one of the most adored cities in Spain by the Spanish people. Combining gorgeous beaches right in the middle of town and renowned culinary and cultural  tradition it is easy to understand why.

La Concha beach is the most famous, but not the only one in the city, and has been voted one of the best beaches in Europe!  A perfect place to try your hand surfing the Atlantic waves and what better than combining a Spanish summer course with some surfing in the afternoons?

Our partner school is located just 10 minutes from the old town and the Zurriola beach. The building boasts a spacious open-air terrace with refreshments area, library, multi-media and 17 classrooms.

This is an intensive academic programme focused on students studying for higher level Spanish exams and is distributed as follows:

• 20 classes of 45 mins of General Spanish in small international groups (max 12)
• 5 classes of 45 mins of International Team projects in international groups
• 3 hours of Leaving cert prep in mini groups (max 8) 2 sessions of 90 mins per week.

In the afternoons there are 3 afternoon activities organised on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Once a week on Saturday there is a full day outing included for all participants.

Accommodation is arranged with local host families on a half board basis (breakfast and dinner) and it is also possible to share a room with a friend if so desired. San Sebastian is a small city and hosts are located either within walking distance or a short bus journey from school.

Students are supervised at the school and during all activities/outings by programme co-ordinators.
