A summer camp only minutes from the beach offering Spanish classes, residential accommodation, activities, sports and excursions all together with other international and Spanish participants.
On top of that the programme also offers keen tennis players the opportunity to build in tennis tuition into the standard programme. The tennis option consists of 8 tennis lessons held on week-day afternoons and suitable for both beginners and experienced players.
The residential programme has its base at the beach town of Castdelldefels which is right on the beach and a very popular beach for Barcelona residents given it is only 20 minutes south of the city. The residence is located within the UPC university campus there beside the beach and houses a maximum of 180 campers in single or double rooms with bathroom.
On arrival each camper takes a language proficiency level test and different groups are offered according to level. There is a ratio of 1 counsellor per 8-12 children as well as the teaching and management team.
Other standard afternoon activities and workshops include sports such as basketball, volleyball, football, aerobics, badminton, archery, hockey.
Cultural activities might include arts and crafts, music and percussion, theatre, cooking and dancing.
At least one full day outing and two half day outings are included to nearby places of interest such as Barcelona city. Full day outings to places such as Cadaques and Girona, Sitges and Tarragona. Half day trips to places of interest in Barcelona city such as the Sagrada Familia, Pueblo Español and Tibidabo amusement park.
