We are delighted to introduce our collaboration with one of the oldest and best considered schools in Spain, situated in the heart of Seville, one of the most beautiful cities in Spain.
What makes this programme extra special is that the participants live with host families who have boys and girls attending the same school adding to the whole integration experience and making it so much easier for our visiting students. Host families host international students attending the school in order to live a new cultural experience and make new international friendships. Host families will either accompanying students to school or buy them a local transport card if their own children use this system.
The school is situated in the old part of the city. It is renowned for its academic excellence and offers both the Spanish and IB curriculums. Participants can attend for a minimum of 1 month and up to a full school year. They have currently about 70-80% Spanish pupils with international pupils attending mainly from China, USA and South America.
An extra bonus of this special programme is that every month there is a cultural outings programme organised in order that pupils see a bit of the surrounding area. This includes one concert per month, one weekday half day visit and one weekend full day trip. Additional weekend trips are also offered periodically throughout the year.
The school year in Spain runs from mid-September to mid-June. There is a break for Christmas and Easter and shorter long weekends on half term holidays.
